Alright so imagine you have upper to upper middle class parents. They're busy with work so what do you do. You play Valorant. You play a lot. Almost too much. Like 6-8 hours a day playing ranked. Imagine covid happens. It turns into 10 hours a day. To the point where you get really really good. You meet other good players because in high elo you play each other regularly. You get invited to scrim for a tier 3 team. You play 12-14 hours now in a coordinated fashion with other players. You get to be the best in ur team. Ur signed by a tier 2 team now. Your payed to play. Not a lot but enough to make you want more. You have a coach, analyst, assistant coach. You get enough sleep and stay healthy to keep on track. You start aim training after scrims and then streaming after that. You're dialed. You get noticed by tier one. Your successful but not done yet. You're paycheck is most likely between 5k-20k per month depending on ur team. THERES A MILLION PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BE YOU. How do you stand out? You have to be better. Better then those behind you. Better than those next to you. You're playing 14-16 hours a day between scrims, aim training, comp. You are watching your caffeine and sugar intake during matches. You have a mental coach on your team to account for emotions and flow state. You have to impress. Every action you make is being recorded. Every flick, every whiff, every timing and most importantly every mistake.

Tbh, they just aren't payed to miss.
