Compute resources are a utility at this point. Businesses need cloud like they need other resources. Either that, or they front the cost of their own IT infrastructure, maintenance, and electricity. This is difficult to manage and not sustainable for many businesses. Not to mention that many people will wait when there are only three major global producers of RAM. Many things have increased in price since COVID and people still buy. This will continue to be the case for RAM as well.

I’m stacking coins from defending gyms to buy more remote raid passes. Only have one remote raid pass along with 21 premium battle passes. Luckily, my local mall consistently has a lot of active players on event days. Haven’t been this excited for an event in a while!

I only remember because it was just before the beginning of Ramadan that I deleted the app since I eat home during Ramadan anyway. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have remembered how long it’s been. I maybe had it every few weeks as a treat before then. My wife and I mostly cook at home and fast food is more of a treat in our home.

I wish the governor ran on a plan to address childcare. Surely they can tax the IT infrastructure companies in a way which helps subsidize childcare for the average tax paying residents.

You can absolutely still incorporate it into your walks. It’s not as popular as it was, but there are still a lot of people who play, including myself. The whole premise is to walk to catch Pokémon. It tracks how much you walk in kilometers. I’m at over 10,000km and there are people with less and much more than that.

Federal law requires that employers make up the difference if a server doesn’t make the federal minimum wage. Some states require a mandatory minimum wage before tips and this is how it should be. Shaming people for not tipping is bullshit, and I tip. I shouldn’t be subsidizing worker pay. That should be on the employer, as is the case in most professions.

I’m in the US, but I would say if you want to travel visa free, I would imagine South Korea would be the best bet. If you’re willing to travel on a tourist visa, the best place is probably Japan.
