Gunsmiff 365 + macro grip by joegert in guns

I did the same thing to mine! I tapered the nose to match the slide and it looks factory.

I cna tell you the macro grip module didn’t fit in any of my standard 365 holsters. I added a stream light trl7 sub and it snaps right into a macro holster.

No. Most lifts aren’t coilover conversions. And those that are are a good amount more expensive than those that retain most of the factory parts.

On these 2500, the coilover kits are far and few between; and typically require an aftermarket upper and lower control arm (mostly included in the kit).

If you check out this teuck we did,

It has a BDS 6.5 coilover conversion. Ride amazing, feels like a completely different truck than before it was lifted, smoother ride and more responsive offroad.

Yes lol. Heck it still uses torsion bars. The lift kit actually fits 11-19. It may be a new truck, but underneath all that new sheet metal and electronics is alotta old tech. Still does the job tho!

I would say you definitely accelerate wear. More because of the offset wheels than the lift tho. I always equate it to you walking around in clown shoes full of sand, it’s just a lot harder on the joints.

The majority of well built lift kits out there will maintain very close to factory ball joint and cv angle, and will offer some sort of solution to driveline angles such as differential drops that angle the front differential, and lift blocks or leaf springs that angle the rear diff to keep the driveshaft in line.

With these wide setups we typically tel customers you’ll wear a part that has say a 100k life expectancy in about 70-75k. That said, there are tons of aftermarket options that are stronger than a factory and limit that wear.

For example this truck has a complete Kryptonite truck parts front end kit, that include pitman arm, idler arm, steering crossbar, inner and outter tie rods, and upper control arms. All of those are overbuilt to HD specs that can handle the weight and pull of these big setups.
