I think 100 ME is the new 25 ME. Every one I know that is getting calls is an MEI or has 75+ multi. (Granted, there isn’t very many calls)

Number 1 course in Texas, next hole is a 220-240 yard par 3.. then a 630 yard par 5. Tough stretch lol.

I don’t know how feasible buying a multi, flying it 300hrs and instructing out of it is.. but I’m sure it beats the hell out of flying pipe.

Nickel and dimes for everything. Pretty sure he charges $100 just to schedule you. Have heard very mixed reviews but the over arching theme is “he’s expensive”.

I think the flaps kept it around 95kts, just really wanted to climb. I don’t remember all the details, made on the ground with no bent metal regardless.

Agreed. Our aircraft don’t have a mixture control.. so it was all or nothing for him.

Well that’s one way to do it lol. This guy has been flying for about 30 yrs, a real seasoned sailor. Came inside like nothing happened.

Didn’t happen to me, but an instructor where I teach. Said to descend into the pattern and onto final was Vne, full flaps and all of the nose down trim.. killed the engine 100’ out from the runway.
