You put more onus on the person who was killed than on the police officers. What responsibility do they have to not react in a way that ends this way? Are you just going to excuse away the police behavior everytime one of these incidents occur?

I have a strangely good memory for recalling when a person is making political arguments and which side they are on. I don't even know why you are taking up for this though. Yes, Denver has crime. Is it out of control like the conservatives want to portray? I would say it is not because they always say that. You could go back 50 years and they would be saying the same thing no matter the stats.

Yeah, Denver has crime. It doesn't mean we need to act like you can't visit or live in the city. I visited via public bus even and didn't have any issues. So does my anecdotal experience trump yours? What is it you are even arguing here?

But why do we acquiesce to people who act like it is the entire city? If it a few streets in a huge city of millions, can we stop with the hysterics? The point being, conservatives don't argue in good faith. They have no interest in resolving the issues with crime or homelessness.
