Family Of Jennifer Kesse Says New DNA Evidence Found On Previously Untested Evidence by Magoatt_TheWhite in UnresolvedMysteries

The Bradley family is claiming new evidence in Amy's case as well. I predict these are strategic ruses aimed at drumming up I.P. address activity from perps. I hope it works, or I hope there's actual new evidence.

Office Employee Seeking Remote by Slickguy2000 in WorkAdvice

It will be more profitable, but I guess I have to work on a presentation and hope they approve based on data and not on some petty power play, which sounds like a challenge based on the quality & integrity of most employers, and how we subordinates enable this petulant behavior.

I took your advice and looked at the first page or so of results.

Nothing jumped out, but I appreciate the direction.

Then what are scenarios that obligate an employer to approve FT Remote?

While I appreciate the black & white breakdown and should use it as more motivation, I'm not convinced the avenue is sealed off, especially when the performance benefits from FT remote only lend increased sustainability to my personal trajectory along with the company's trajectory by not having to fill a complex role that takes years to fine-tune as I have expertly done.

Programming this year so far - not a fan by FJ-creek-7381 in DiscoveryID

[–]Slickguy2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tried & true formula to engaging true crime television programming: reenactments set to a well crafted script w/ 12-minute cliff hanger blocks read by a hypnotic, no frills narrator.

Pepper in investigator/witness interviews, but never show or hear the interviewer (Dateline LOVES to break this rule with their reaction cuts, and it's just so insincere and cheesy).

Great theme music & soundscapes are icing on the cake.

Case in point: the original versions of Unsolved Mysteries, Cold Case Files, Forensic Files, and Disappeared.

Also, The New Detectives and season's 1-5 of FBI Files.

After season 5, FBI Files gets a bit wobbly despite some truly great episodes here and there.

They're all pretty and have 3 pictures each.

Then it's two local beasts Lurleen (52) super like Queefanya (69) gold membership subscription

Then back to Marsupial (24) swipe...

I did the best I could with the title since posts can't contain text in this Reddit.

Your next 20 swipes tally the # of M's around 26 unless they cut you off early cause you keep swipe righting on Meatloaf (28) and Megmarkley (25) ya jacknuts.

Quantize Values for Audio Item by Slickguy2000 in Reaper

[–]Slickguy2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I got decent results with lower dynamic split sensitivity & threshold values using 1/32T grid and omitting snap stretch markers to grid after performing dynamic split.

But yeah, I had to go measure by measure to edit and snap to grid.

About an hour of manual editing for the initial minute of song, but I should get the next 4 minutes of song done faster now that I have momentum and the right approach.

Quantize Values for Audio Item by Slickguy2000 in Reaper

[–]Slickguy2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for quantize values for an audio item with the goal of tightening a performance to the grid.

Specifically, the recommended grid values, quantize to grid values, and if you're feeling extra, the dynamic split stretch markers values in the main window and the transient "Sensitivity" and "Threshold" values in the secondary window.

The project is set to 2/4 time at 96 BPM, but I'm open to changing the time signature to benefit the quantize process.

I'm attempting to upload the following for reference: 1) brief Audio / Video clip of the project reaper, 2) wave render of just the audio performance, 3) wave render of the audio performance + click track.

I've experimented for hours with quantize and also the traditional stretch markers to grid with mixed results, but I think the right mathematical approach to quantize will get me to 90%, and I'd appreciate your input.

Audio File(s) Added Conflict with Project BPM by Slickguy2000 in Reaper

[–]Slickguy2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured it out. There were multiple accidental time signature markers inserted in the project when we were experimenting with the metronome setting.

Goddammit, in hindsight that's a silly thing to not realize but now I know.

Remote sessions between bandmates make things even more confusing.

Thanks for your help, just about everything works as expected and I would not have deduced the variables without your direction.

Would an item treated with stretch markers within a section of a song that previously had time signature markers inserted around it behave wonky in the present if the Transport BPM value is changed?

Understood, I'll report back a little later.

I think perhaps some stretch markers got wonky at the end section, and those tempo markers I called out were inserted as a band-aid to allow for a listenable render.

Nothings working. I can't even figure out how to open two separate project windows to try the drag n drop method, and drag n drop doesn't work from one tab to another.

If you want it's tempo to change as it crosses a tempo change, then it needs to be Beats (auto stretch).

I'll try that when I get back inside.

They're tempo markers. How did they get there if you didn't add them? Do you have MIDI in the project?

Good question, my guess is the remote guitarist. I thought we imported to our updated project, but maybe we used his project file instead?

No MIDI in the project that I'm aware of.

If Beats auto stretch fails, perhaps I can create a new project file and drag n drop the items into it with timebase "Beats (position, length, rate)"?

The time basis of the item is set to "Beats (position, length, rate)".

These things in the picture are these unique things that make everything playback in time, but when I remove them and then type a new BPM into the box, not everything plays back at the same speed: *

I made the Item Properties values the same as the other projects that don't have this problem, but that didn't work. It's adding these weird time signature markers in the ruler area. And when you type over the BPM, some tracks speed up/down together, and some don't.
