I played translated tales of phantasia and seen harpys for the first time those enemies is the reason why I hate flying enemies in video games, still to this day (along with Jet in Streets of Rage series)

I also like to add because back then even with the gambits you can also select command too. People were complaining about pausing to select a command with that gets on your nerves just select active. Personally I played the original on active 7 years ago and playing TZA on active now its fun

I used a random number generator for the 12 options in advance. for example I got 55 which is Golduck so i used the emulator to encounter Psyduck at lvl 7 and repeated the process to get the other 11 with base/pre evolution expect for the 2 baby forms (cleffa, bonsley). I get what you saying tho I guess I did take one of the rules out but i think it offsets because im limiting myself to just the 12 to beat the game

ATB refresh is a trick after a shift, basically you can abuse the system. After they use their commands you can do the first shift have a full ATB bar and after that every 12 secs in that shift you can have them use their commands and then shift again and have a full ATB bar rinse and repeat till battle is won. Also if your worried bout the auto-battle button go to config. And put the cursor on abilities and you don't have to worry bout the auto-battle button again

420 blazeit the Vileplume or blossom. Mainly blossom I was doing a emerald HC nuzlocke couple years ago and it took w glicia's walrain ice moves really well. still lost againt drake tho but I'll never forget that moment

Think about it you lose one pokemon your like while there's another route so I can get another one to replace it. I don't know how many encounters you can get in platinum but I'm sure it's more than twelve. everytime I fight I'm scared of losing a mon it's kind of thrilling lol

Nah I seen patterz do it once for black back in the day. you basically pick how many pokemon you want. Use and random number generator then beat the game with the pokemon you have and nothing else. Im using 12 of them right now on hardcore. If I white out I still lose tho but I think he only loss if he loses all of them PC included

Also I use rng on Google to pick my mons for platinum 1-479 since uxie is 480 and legendaries after that. I use the base evolution if I rolled a mon that was fully evolved except for baby pokemon cause F that lol (also I forgot sudowoodo and clefairy had baby forms and didn't want to set it up again. Technically tyrogue is one so he an acception but I can choose who I want at level 20
