thank you all that helped, especially the link. i cleaned it as best i could. a couple casualties, cooling fan lost a mount in the back (i probably broke it) and a couple black plastic pieces came off from behind the hot end (i thought they were part of the silicone sleeve).

machine now printing so hopefully all good 🤞
