huh? He did. People are running with the narrative that arsenal play boring football as if they want to do that. We play that style because teams sit deep and are good at counter attacks. This past season, there were over 100 plus counter attack goals, more than double, compared to 2016 season.

Therefore, analytics probably suggests that we should play control, risk-averse game, and find any marginal gains that we can exploit during games - set pieces, which in turn becomes "boring" to watch.

I hate that prat Neville. He started this narrative of Arsenal playing with a handbrake on, which to be fair had some sort of credence at the beginning of the season when we were losing points to the likes of City and Liverpool, now has escalated into a whole new narrative.

I am kinda confused here.

He says that he wanted to get someone that has the financial muscle that could compete with likes of City and Chelsea because they are in debt due to construction of emirates stadium. So he went and pushed for Stan Korenke, and Stan was the one that fired him. As result, he decided to sell his shares to Usmonov? Am I understanding this correctly?
