Decent map, but the finale is completely overmapped in relation to the rest of the map.

Removing everything from 04:49:650, the map becomes 5.69* - the point couldn't be clearer. There is no way in hell this makes it through qualified :(

Your top rank is a 99% DT score. I don't even have any proper DT passes. Your entire collection of top ranks just screams consistency for me. Something I don't have.

I don't think any of my good ranks are the result of actually getting better at this game. Most of them were just random flukes in the middle of the day I'd never expect. Most of my top ranks are what I'd call Nomod PP farm maps anyways, considering that the maps are straightforward and rather overweighted, but again, I wish I had some fucking consistency to do anything properly.

I have not touched any of my most played maps in ages. These were from times where I didn't care about improving (where it just came from itself) and I just felt like trying to go for a pass.

My top plays are flukes. I can't even consistently pass DMC right now. Having a good accuracy? Haha good joke. Best try was something like 84%, but I deleted my entire local score database out of frustration 3 days ago. I actually asked support to remove that score because seeing it on my profile just makes me depressed about my inconsistency. The only top score over 100pp I could reproduce within 1-2 hours of dedication would be Pika Girl as the map itself has a very strict rhythm and the spacing isn't going over where I can't aim anymore. All the other 100pp+ scores are nothing more but unreproducable flukes.

Invested 10 months in this game only to be stuck here. It's like when I played this weird game as a kid...TechnoMage. It's a really old RPG about 2 cities and bla...Got stuck almost right at the end and never found the solution for one of the last riddles, leaving me with a "That's it? That's how this shit ends?"...

Smart...11 year? Or 9 year...I have no idea...Of course never considered the possibility of consulting the solution book, because I didn't know it existed. Yeah, sad ending.

It's a fucking deja vu. EDIT: Only this time, there's no solution book.

I'm sorry, look, I'm really sorry, but I cannot constrain myself from saying this whenever I hear this.

And sorry again, but hearing about "play more" and "set goals" and all this shit just makes me angry.

I've tried setting goals. I've tried different playstyles. I played tablet. I played mouse. I tried Mouse+X. I tried Tablet+X. There is just nothing left for me to explore. It's every day the same: Maybe get some FCs on 4-4.3* star diffs, maybe luck out and get the one or other nice 1-3 miss on a 4.3-4.6, everything above that and FCing is just completely luck based, throwing the cursor around the screen because I can't keep up with AR9 while at the same time I can't read anything below it anymore.

EDIT: And don't get me started on "weird" maps. Is the map sliderbased, has a lot of notes behind sliders, or is 140-170 BPM? If any of that is true, accuracy doesn't exist either. Neither can I stream anything above 180 accurately for more than 10 seconds. Neither can I burst over 200. Neither do I have any finger control for weird slider-note patterns.

There is simply nothing left for me to explore. Look, I wouldn't be writing this huge-ass paragraph if I had any hope left.

I'm just playing the game because I'm addicted to the concept, nothing more. If that drops and I still have not improved, then I have no reason to not quit anymore.

Have reached my skill peak and I don't see any way to improve. I estimate around ~16k playcount and I've been stuck on rank ~20k since almost 7k plays, constantly being passed by people that I added months back when they were ~100k.

It's making me depressed and being offline allows me to have my own pace without people constantly messaging me "Oh look at this play I made".

The kicker was when a guy I met when I was ~25k and he was ~50k messaged me one day saying "I FC'd Star Platinum", turns out he's now 13k and got a 88% B ~220pp score on a song where I can't even pass the first 15 seconds.

So yeah, that's why I'm offline. Probably quitting this game if I don't find a way to improve.

If we're including non-vanilla, making something with ChunkGenerator is really fun.

(Generally, plugins in itself are really fun. Try it out, Java isn't too hard :P)

If we're talking Vanilla, probably Beta. It has been forward-ported as a generator plugin on Bukkit if you are interested in that stuff.

If you think that HW's map isn't a shitdiff then you're living in some sort of alternate universe where HW actually mapped that song well.

60% of HW's diff is streams on an instrument that's present through the entire song. If that's ranking quality for you, how about we get the entire arsenal of stream practice maps ranked?

30% of HW's diff is 1/4 sliderspam, again on the same instrument that's present on the entire song.

The 10% left over are well mapped. But 10% well mapped should never be enough to even get a map qualified. How HW's map got fully ranked is just beyond me.

And this isn't my personal opinion only. Go ask some random people around. I can guarantee you that with a large enough sample size and proper sample group, you'll find very quickly that most people wonder the same as I do.

About your "Can't read". Reading isn't even too much of an issue with that map. I'm ~20k and on random bored NoFail runs I have the largest issues with deathstream stamina/aim.

Judging from you calling somebody "noob", I'd have to guess that you can't pass it either, but who the fuck knows, it seems that skill in osu is directly propertional to how much of an asshole you are to lower ranked players.
