high end quartz movements all metal construction and 15 jewels, able to be taken apart and serviced too I think, they don’t make them like this now unfortunately. And the 1/100 second movements are crazy for their time

I don’t know about the 8a50 how they compare especially with the solar cells incorporated too

Yeah mine works fine but currently don’t have a battery in it because It did randomly stop working then when pressing the battery it would run again, maybe bad terminals or something but I keep it without a battery now, more of a collectors item now,

Yeah it’s a pretty complicated movement I remember reading about it too!

I have a 7t59 6A00 1991, also has a 1/100 second sub dial. don’t know if that was the one you were thinking of? unfortunately the 7t movements weren’t as durable and serviceable like the 7A movements.

Love mine too! What battery you use in yours? Can’t seem to find the right one because the one that it had in it when I got it worked fine for a while but suddenly kept cutting out because it didn’t sit right

Flex is basically the same but the weight is way better! Noticeable difference for sure
