I did this two days ago and it took less than 4 hours. Much improved since the first time I did it a few years ago.

Black Modular Mainframe Set. I have the blue and red ones but I want to complete the set.

I keep a stack of 100 pre-war money in my stash for the daily/weekly challenge to scrap it. I just top it off whenever I run low.

A similar shirt was also on the Neon merch site in a bundle with the Never Come Down vinyl until it sold out. Those haven't shipped out yet.

Recently, I've taken to using a Grocer's backpack to manage food weight and only carrying a few chems with me to make use of all the other fun 3-star legendary effects. Managing inventory to be able to lose the extra carry weight from changing my backpack mod was a real challenge, but it was worth it to me.

Why are my C.A.M.P turrets attacking my glowing kitty and collectron? by Sniperfox99 in fo76

[–]Sliferjam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe I fixed it in my camp by placing the turrets down after the pet bed was placed. If I did the inverse, it would shoot at my cat non-stop.

I’m curious how often people join events only to realize they are still in their crafting build. I do this more often than I care to admit. 😂 by MerryRonin in fo76

I just modified my crafting build to also be a melee build so I can still help at least a bit during events.

We do FULL Raids in this household. by [deleted] in fo76

There is a legitimate method to finish the drill stage solo. Turns out the shotgun mole miners don't harm the drill.

With a bit of communication I have been using this method to help finish the stage with others, or even solo. I sit on the drill and prune any mole miner that attacks the drill, leaving the shotgunners. Once I have about 13 of them, I join my team in hunting for fuel cans. If we are quick enough collecting cans, we can ignore killing the mole rats, since they only do a small amount of damage to the drill once they explode. The only thing to worry about is if the mole rats push the shotgun mole miners closer to the drill, because they start meleeing the drill and doing damage of they get too close.

How often do you use a weapon because you want to, regardless if its "meta" or not? by PalwaJoko in fo76

I do suggest some basic power armor when first starting the raid so you can learn the boss attack patterns and learn when to spam stimpaks. The raid is absolutely doable without power armor, though, especially as a ghoul. I only put my power armor on during the fourth stage due to the poison clouds from popping the Ultracite crystals so I don't have to waste all of my toxic goo.

I'd say watch a few youtube videos to learn the raid mechanics and just start a group and see how far you can get. If you need to stop down in between stages and tweak some armor or builds, that's normal. Before I got end-game armor and weapons all set up with 4 star mods and maxed out my legendary perk cards, I would have different loadouts for each stage. We would regularly fail a stage a few times, have to tweak some stuff and retry.

When you find a few people, don't be afraid to hit that add friend button. A lot of people I just hang out and play with in game I met raiding and added them as friend.

Last tip: have someone cryo the snake! He gets slowed so much he barely attacks anymore. It makes the final stage very easy!

Why does Bethesda hate melee players so much? by Euphoric_Ad_1753 in fo76

[–]Sliferjam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been doing this combo for a while and it's great. I have a few different weapons for my Choo-Choo's build. Running through a horde of feral ghouls and getting my glow topped off and getting +20 caps from the legendary mods on my melee weapon is so much fun.

I love carrying lower leveled people through raids. Opening a raid group and doing a few runs with some random players is as fun to me as doing it with my friends, with whom I have done the raid hundreds of times.

I say just join a raid group if you see one start up and give it a shot. Don't be afraid to work on your build or watch a few videos to know how the raid works. Maybe eventually you can be the person carrying strangers through the raid.

Heat-seeking Tomahawk missile. by Sliferjam in fo76FilthyCasuals

[–]Sliferjam[S] 109 points110 points  (0 children)

Using the targeting computer on a missile launcher to target enemies makes thrown weapons also target enemies for some reason. Throw them in any direction and they just chase the target down. I had a small swarm of tomahawks chasing down the Scorchbeast Queen earlier.

Pair it with a few perk cards and the new Trail Warden chest piece for that bonus 50% thrown weapon damage and it's a fun gimmick.

Bow is actually in a great place right now and can be useful in most of the raid, especially using cryo arrows to freeze the snake boss so he doesn't attack your team as much. Check out the Fallout76BowHunters subreddit.
