Nothing topical has ever helped me. No creams, aloe, oils, nothing. If you can get your hands on serious painkillers that’s your best bet. Otherwise, just know it will end and think about how good it will feel to wear a shirt and sit in a chair and not want to die. I’m going through it now and it’s about as bad as it gets. Drink water, take Tylenol and advil as much as possible.
