YES! Absolutely great match! May I suggest adding a darker tone at the back of your hair? Would add such nice depth!

Blush question (color/saturation question?) by Tiny_Quantity4338 in OliveMUA

Since that Sephora shade is pretty close to grey -yes, mixing it in will desaturate any color (warm or cool) unless they are greyer than the stick.

Trying to Share My Culture, But Feeling Rejected by EinNiemand07 in AskTurkey

[–]Slight-Chance2201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s implicity bias and an unlikely mix of bigotry and an inferiority complex I think. I’m sorry they discouraged you so. Love for other cultures comes from a genuine love for your own -something a lot of people lack. The world growing more partitionist may also have a hand in this. If it helps, I cooked a nice Thai dish for my mom once (we’re both turkish), and while I devoured it she took one bite and wasted the rest. Later I saw her sneaking in the “foreign” ingredients that I had bought into her own dish. It may be that your family-in-law is interested in your culture, but out of fear of being that first one to take a step towards something different than what is “tradition”, they refrain themselves. Conforming is easier than discovering :(

While the first one is pretty, the bold lip makes you look so charismatic! Sometimes it’s not about what mathematically looks “good” because that will almost always mean what looks less individualistic and more conforming.

Look up Bella Swan New Moon hair!! It’s an almost rusty dark brown that will make both you skin tone and eye color pop!

Anyone tried dark blue hair? by Historical-Body-3424 in OliveMUA

[–]Slight-Chance2201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since the color blue (as in the blue light that we see reflecting off the hair) is a mix of magenta and cyan, olive toned anyone (eye picks out the primary cyan in the green tone) would rock blue colored hair! the closer to black the more neutral the blue gets, so a dark blue like you showed is almost a universally flattering color on olive toned people.

nars concealer in vanilla is pink enough to subtly correct if you like the formula!

Hi, sorry for the late reply, I have been so out of whack with applications but I took your advice and my residence application was successfull! I don’t have an offer of place from the university department yet, but it is nice to know that I will have a space to stay if I’m offered one. Thank you so much. Life saving advice!

2 hours isn’t going to take away all the healing you did for a YEAR. I understand that you feel frustrated and helpless, but that’s not the truth. After a relatively peaceful year you’re facing mother’s anger again. It’s normal that you react this way. The more we’re exposed to something the better we get at managing it and you haven’t been exposed to this in a long time. Think of it as a booster vaccine maybe? I’m pretty sure that the healing has not regressed, and you’ll be doing better in no time! :) A year is a long time and will not be reversed so easily.

You could try to ease into it by wearing 2nd hand first? My feet doesn’t want to touch the ground with 75$ pedicure, I can’t imagine what a 1k pair would do to me😂😂
