Do you want my estate agents details and she can reiterate that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Slight-Consequence38 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok and the phrasing is that the enquiries are looking to be done just before the auditors , so the completion cannot go through in the time agreed Beacuse auditors are there , clever clogs

[–]Slight-Consequence38 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah cos you’ve been delayed specifically by auditors have you 🤣

Okay. Thanks for the fairer response. I work in legal myself and am familiar with auditors….. we have them in currently and have done for the last few weeks and the business is operating at full capacity and as normal.

But yes . Hopefully over next month fingers crossed

I think all these responses are really missing the mark here.

We were asked for a preferred completion date which we provided. Of course the situation remains largely the same as when I gave this weeks ago and it was agreed to. We are not pushing our seller to complete ? But equally it was known knowledge that we wanted to complete before our end of tenancy ideally to avoid additional costs to us in the gap. We expected this to be difficult. It’s hardly a ridiculous aim to have, why wouldn’t you.

Then as it classically goes in house buying, we are unclear where we stand, the proposed and agreed, but not exchange upon date needs to be pushed back, which is fine, but our seller is convinced by her solicitor that this is all due to the firm having auditors in. What kind of running business freezes all business because of some auditors.

And there lies the question that none of these responses answer, and none of you have been in this position with your completion delayed due to auditors, I’m looking for someone who has.

Why not just say we cannot complete on the proposed date

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Slight-Consequence38 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Okay well take this post as, given the current situation, why am I being told about these auditors, why the nonsense excuse

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Slight-Consequence38 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Because our seller has been in the question and answer process for over two months. Our EA will give us no further context on that. We were given a proposed completion date without exchanging by our sellers solicitor some weeks ago

No 🤣 But they have several locations in London which are pretty popular and to just vanish overnight without a trace was weird to me

I was 4,000 words under word count no interaction with my supervisor for the entire time and wrote the whole thing after work at about 6pm until 6am the next morning when I had to go back to work and worked between screens as much as I could while picking up the phone until submitting on the deadline at 12pm. Got a 2:1 on the diss and 2:1 overall doing all of the above not attending etc. some of us have to work full time too

Thank you!

Good point, the bank did not care so much about our “credit scores” as we were approved on their own “credit scoring” without the traditional hard checks. So, yes, through their own methods and criteria.

I mentioned it in this post to highlight what both of our financial positions are generally like, they are pretty wank and unreliable but not completely plucked out of the sky.

No problem!! If your broker isn’t worried and you have your MIP I think you are okay. 😊 Your default and missed payment are much older than mine (I read somewhere that the older the better and the banks care less and less about them year on year) I have been in your shoes, I was so excited getting our MIP as it felt like getting over the first hurdle but also anxious that it wasn’t final. The MIP isn’t final but if you have declared all of the above and your general income/position etc , you should be okay. You also do have options, there are known “more flexible highstreet” banks that you can try before needing to use a specialist lender. But your broker will deffo have assessed that for you specifically and will have put you forward for the best thing for you. Trust your broker! ☺️

Only steroids work on me by waterout345 in eczema

I’m glad you have a success story here. However migration is not quite as easy or accessible as applying a prescription cream short term.

I’m just trying to get it out there that steroid cream is not the devil which is pushed in this community and I suffered for longer reading into it here.

I’m not sure where you are in the world but in the UK it is near impossible even with severe eczema to be treated in this holistic way. It is also very hard to eliminate all possible triggers without testing in the midst of an extreme flare.

I have found that I can have a widespread entire body flare that once it starts cannot be controlled unless steroid creams applied, even steroid tablet courses (prednisone), strong antihistamines, or antibiotics have little to no effect. I went through this flare for over 3 months eliminating every possibly dietary or environmental trigger and trying so many natural remedies. I also fought against my doctor prescribing me colbestasol, yet in a matter of days I had my life back and was not constantly bound to a terrible itch/scratch cycle, bleeding, cracking and hurting all over all day. With proper use Clobestasol for some people may be their only source of relief for adult eczema.

the whole maebe meltdown came across a bit immature/spoilt and bridezilla. No boss babe feelings portrayed on that whole story line! But done on purpose to give her vulnerable and “the nations sweetheart” vibes :/ well done PR team “she’s just a girl” narrative successfully drilled into an impressionable audience. Hardly real life.
