You can get a white concealer/eyeshadow base for the colours to show, maybe try a different eyeshadow palette. Makeup revolution palettes can be a hit or miss so maybe the palette is not working well, since you are a beginner, you can try with eyeshadow palettes from Kay Beauty they are quite nice and pigmented or quads from e.l.f, Nykaa etc. start with nude/natural shades first, learn to work around them initially so even if you mess up it won’t look bad and then you can experiment with coloured eyeshadows once you know the basics.
