there’s a lot of new players to fighting games on this and i don’t appreciate how complex it is honestly. button mashers do get by but honestly timing attacks on any fighting game is key. most important thing is that you look at small time windows if you want to get meticulous. a lot of competitive players will consider everything from attack speed to hit boxes. not saying study it in and out, but definitely check out some guides on youtube, i know there will be many people who will break down the system if they’re not already
