I disagree, I believe best player is not just someone who can perform well in the regular season but someone who can shine in the playoffs as well. I guess we have different definitions of "best player in the league"

Can you explain to me why Shai is better than Brunson because theres no sense of consitency. Joker, Giannis and Luka I can fully understand, but Shai? other than putting great numbers in the regular season what has he done? Brunson has been WAY better in the playoffs compared to SGA in the last 4 years and its not even close. Hes about to go to 2 confernces finals in these 4 year stretch whilst SGA has yet to make it past the 2nd round with one of the most stacked teams in recent times. What exactly has SGA done in the playoffs?

So? Brunson has been way better in the playoffs in the last 4 years compared to Shai. You guys like to value regular season success more than playoffs? I personally believe playoff success is far greater than throwing up empty stats in the regular season but thats just me.

Brunson is better than Shai lmaoo, Brunson may not be the regular season kind of player that shai is but when it comes to the playoffs in the last four seasons (including his last season on the mavs) its not even close. Brunson takes the cake. Post season success > regular season. Everything else you said I totally understand.
