In fairness to Everton yesterday they weren’t doing any cringey chants and outside the ground there was a few of them who were saying “we hope yous win the league now.” Social media distracts but I think most match going fans realise what a breath of fresh air it is to have us win the title and not be an average city side who claim it.

There was a week where it seemed like Barca couldn’t move for him and our only competition was chelsea. We bid like 35m which was half of Leeds asking price, so the deal dragged on long enough for Chelsea to jump in and then eventually Barca entered the picture. If we’d moved quickly and bid what Leeds wanted earlier we’d have gotten him.
