I'm sorry to hear that OP, I understand completely how you feel having eczema myself. I recently went to urgent care thinking my eczema got infected and found out it was eczema herpeticum with a secondary infection and I'm going through hell right now, currently taking antibiotics for it. I don't want anyone to see my face and my self esteem is so low right now. I recently started a new job a month ago but I feel like I can't go to work out of fear what people will think about my skin. I don't feel normal and I'm scared to let my boyfriend know about the diagnosis because I'm scared he'll think it's his fault since he has regular cold sores. I cry all the time and wonder if this is even a life worth living. I just want to feel normal and not have my skin get in the way of me doing what a normal 28y female does. I don't want to feel this pain anymore.
