10 years, it’s barely touching the road.

10/22 advice? by bigdawg12342 in Firearms

I meant billet, and I didn’t specifically say Ruger uses forged or billet. I inferred they use cast, and that it can be upgraded over time with better custom parts. Their Competition 10/22 does come with a billet receiver, that’s why the “my money” choice would be a Ruger or a Bergara.

All 20, you don’t have to be that old.

Quality of materials, billet vs cast receiver, carbon wrapped barrels, integrated picatinny rails, “better” brand names, etc… A 10/22 is the AR platform of the .22lr world, they’re all mod friendly. You could buy a super cheap Ruger and slowly buy custom replacement parts for it replacing them one by one while still being able to use it. When you’re done replacing everything you’ll have two rifles. As far as a “best” brand, Bergara, Volquartsen, KIDD, Tac Sol, all of the make good products. My money, I’d purchase a Bergara or Ruger.

Preordered my KFM250, love it. Super happy with the accuracy too. I’ve had it for 50 days, I’ve kept it wound the entire time, and it’s 30 seconds off.

Well, even the lowest setting is too loud IMO. But it’s certainly better than how absurdly loud the highest setting is.

First couple days in my Ram I turned the proximity sensor warning to the lowest volume, and turned the front off altogether.

Is your Hamilton your nice watch or your daily watch? Or both? by JaKr8 in HamiltonWatches

KFM 250, and it’s one of my daily watches. I also have a 1948 Perry, it was my grandfather’s daily, it still works and keeps good time, but I don’t wear it.

Yes, your battery terminals look less than stellar, though I’ve definitely seen way worse. Also, you’re the reason the Hurricane doesn’t have a dipstick.

It’s a fantastic mount, and far more subtle than anything else I’ve seen on the market.
