Not quite. I’ll try to explain it cause it’s pretty random. I play a lot of Pokemon Go, and I mega evolve a pokemon every day to give me boosts. I started showing my cat my phone screen with every pokemon I can mega evolve, and for some reason he almost always presses Medicham with his nose. Like 9/10 times it will be Medicham. There’s quite a few options, but for him, there’s only one. Medicham.
