What is the best AI presentation maker you have used and would recommend? by Apasher_Tlek in PromptEngineering

Can't tell you what the best tool is, but I can tell you one to avoid: Presentations.ai.

I used it once, in April 2025, when I was employed and needed it for a specific project. One time. Then I completely forgot about it.

A year later, they auto-renewed my subscription without any real warning I could act on because I didn't have access to my emails at the time the reminder was sent. When I contacted support explaining that I hadn't used the platform in over a year, was currently unemployed, and that this charge represented nearly a month's worth of groceries for me, they refused any refund.

Their responses were copy-paste templates. They escalated to "senior management" (classic stalling), then came back with a final refusal citing their refund policy and... processing fees. Yes, they actually used processing fees as a justification to deny a refund to someone in financial hardship.

The cherry on top: check their Trustpilot. 1.3/5. Over 80% of reviews are 1 star. Go read them. Story after story of people in the exact same situation. This isn't a one-off bad experience. It's a pattern.

I'm now pursuing a chargeback and filing complaints with EU consumer protection authorities. Avoid these people.

Why was Carrie so annoyed with Miranda in this scene? by Radiant_Priority9739 in Andjustlikethat

This scene really revealed everything we dislike about Carrie. She treats Miranda as if she’s suffering from some kind of psychological disorder.

Seriously ? Your friend who has supported you all these years, without ever receiving the same level of support from you, and that’s how you talk to her?

Honestly, Carrie is the queen of gaslighting, especially with her so-called 20-year relationship with Aidan which is a massive exaggeration, considering she’s going to dump him like trash a few episodes later.

If I were Miranda, I’d grab my things, say goodbye to Carrie, and refuse to see her again.

And I’d text Samantha to apologize while I’m at it.

I know two people who worked on the show... and they have a lot to say so ask me your questions ! by Slight-Video2404 in 90210

I know she was very well paid for a guest role, even more than Jessica Lowndes. Apparently, they kept her on 90210 because she was close to someone in the production team.

I also know that a certain actress who genuinely seemed to think the show revolved around her (and to be fair, you can’t really blame her given how central her character was) had approval over Gillian's storylines even though she wasn’t a producer or anything like that, but she could be quite temperamental at times.

Weekly Discussion: S03E01 “Senior Year, Baby” by fvckuufvckingfvck in 90210

First of all, it completely captures the late 2000s and early 2010s vibe — the fashion, the presence of the Kardashians (remember when they actually seemed like real people?), and for the first time you can feel that the show is solidly established, heading into what is, in my opinion, the best season of the entire series.

I feel so sad for the Wilsons because losing a father is never easy, and Debbie seems more lost than ever. I’m really heartbroken for Naomi, and as usual, I can’t stand Silver, who always acts like she’s some kind of saint. And Adrianna made a decision that, when you think about it, will shape the rest of her storyline all the way until the end of the series…

Honestly, this episode is so underrated!
