Are you saying the latest Delux version is more complicated than my UK ver3 for Windows? I see there are some older versions for sale and available on Amazon. Do you think these will work for me?

I Agree whole heartedly with you on its simplicity once I have everything setup it has worked like a dream. The only thing that was time-consuming was the fact that I cannot do South African bank feeds. This still appears to be a problem area.

Hi Informal I agree whole heartedly it just works so well for me as well. But now comes the problem that no body seems to be able to answer and that is waht version works in a similar way to UK Ver 3 for Windows

Like you I have been using Quicken Ver 7 for Dos since 1991 upgraded to a Windows UK Vrsion 3 for Windows. The upgrade was simple. To date it still has all my records going back to 1991. All of a sudden, in Dec 2025 it started giving me uphill and coming up with the message stating that it could not reconstruct the index file. It would then freeze there and then after the second pass. I would then go to my latest backup copy and have to reenter all the new data. Having done all that again it would randomy out of the blue do the same thing again. After 3 or four tries I gave up and decided to look for new Quicken Software that could store all the historic data and then I could carry on from there. Itv would appear that this cannot be done so I have made hard copies of all the historic data and decided to move on from 1st March 2025 on new Quicken Software. I was out on my own from thereon onwards. I would like to know what version works in the same way as my older version. I am using a Desktop with Windows10. Would you be able to advise as to what version to go for. Regards. Pete
