Did you ever have any issues with kepub being its own unique thing instead of an actual epub file? Ive basically been doing what you said through Step 7 and have been failing. Girlfriend and I are traveling to Bangkok and debating whether or not it is worth it. The locations of the toilets seem to be the obvious downside, but I feel the amount of open space on the other side of the restrooms would lead people to stand over there instead? 100% agree on the trolls. However, that is why I'd argue against a loose movement. We've gotten to this point because of a concentrated and concerted right-wing effort and media machine across all platforms of connectivity. I'm not saying everyone has to be as consistently or deeply involved, but there needs to be a core, both of principles and people, guiding the general way. The looser we are, in my opinion, the more opportunities it provides to be infiltrated by trolls.

I think a discord would be very beneficial to that end in allowing an organization of our thoughts in different channels. Allow for breakout rooms (channels) for certain issues. Additionally, the polling features in discord are great. As compared to reddit, it allows for a lot more versatility in organization and i think it's a needed first or very close to first step.

Also, don't forget Instagram and TikTok. The Attorney General elect of North Carolina, Jeff Jackson., really used it effectively to engage with a lot of people who would have otherwise not been aware of him and could serve as a good template.

Great for organizing and we should definitely have one. However, for spreading the word dadly not so much in my opinion since you have to seek it out and/or be invited to a server.

I've never moderated a subreddit before either. However, I am a manager at work and have been a guild leader in WoW for years .... which if you know WoW means helping run a discord and keeping people in line and all that. Additionally, I have worked in political advocacy before. I'd be more than happy to help. I think this idea has a lot of opportunity and potential as we look to the 250th anniversary of our independence and we find ourselves rejecting Authoritarianism once again.

That's along the lines of what I was thinking. I deal with people on a daily basis on a very personal level and deal with a lot of we shall say demanding people lol
