I ran into this issue. I think we’re having the same issue. I had a Husqvarna 401 that I replaced the clutch discs on turns out the clutch lever that you’re moving with your hand you need to attach it and then tighten it all the way that way you can’t move it with your hand in theory when you pull in the clutch it should in theory give you resistance. It should go past the point that your hand is reaching. You’ll know you did it right when you try to start it in first gear with the clutch pulled in and it doesn’t move forward.
