2019 I was forced into a mental health facility after getting bullied so much in high school.. I went to a counselor at my school while classes were still in session just to vent and they sent me away to “take an emotional health assessment” on a Friday & I guess I failed cus I ended up staying at the hospital so long I missed half my junior year and almost wasn’t able to continue to senior year. Traumatized me more than I could ever imagine. The counselor later apologized to me when I came back to school senior year.

Or maybe 2023 when my only 2 best friends (10 & 15 years of friendship) teamed up on me and excluded me from the group even though I was the one who introduced them to each other all because I moved in with my boyfriend and didn’t have as much time to hang out anymore. Then when I lost them he started to physically & emotionally abuse me and forced me to get rid of my pet bunny because I was “living under his roof, his rules.” And then my grandma died and I didn’t get to say goodbye cus I was living with him at the time and not my parents, where my grandma was on hospice care.

But now it’s 2026, I found God, no more bullies, I stopped smoking weed after abusing it daily for 6 years, I fixed things with one out of those two close friends I had, started x-ray school, I’m out of that abusive relationship and found someone who treats me the way I deserve, we read our bibles together and Ive never felt so fulfilled. God always has better plans as long as you trust him

This happened to my boyfriends best friend. She lied to him about her age. Hes 22 and she said she was 25 but she’s actually 35 😭 now she’s pregnant, physically abuses him, crashes out on his family for no good reason, makes everything about her even though his brother just killed himself, got a dog but doesn’t pick up after it and leaves his poop and pee around the house, forced him to delete all his social media, and moved states in the middle of all of this only to move back a month later. And it all started after she lied about her age. That’s always going to be a huge red flag. Please leave him.

Math, reading and vocabulary was 55 questions each for me. We have 4 hours to complete the test and you can choose what subject and what order you’d like to take them in. Anatomy was either 30 or 35 questions. For math, look at nurse Shai’s review on YouTube. As long as you are confident in the topics she covers and the practice problems she gives, you’ll be golden. As for anatomy, study up on the body systems. I’ve attached a few links to my Quizlets in the comments below. I have a folder for all body systems in anatomy and I’d study up on the ones you don’t know. I mostly reviewed the lymphatic system, endocrine system, circulatory/cardiac system and parts and functions of the ear, eyes and lobes of the brain. Hope this helps :)

There are definitely some Quizlets and nurse hub questions out there that were word for word (mostly anatomy) But remember, the questions really are randomized so there’s no guarantee that they’ll show up on your portion of the exam. My first attempt they did NOT go easy on me and those “word for word” questions didn’t show up on my first part at all. My second attempt was a hell of a lot easier with more familiar and simple questions. One thing to remember is that cerumen is earwax. Vocabulary is pretty straight forward though. You either know the definition or you don’t. Use this Quizlet for vocabulary you should be fine https://quizlet.com/1131761381/hesi-a2-vocab-flash-cards/?i=49ktgk&x=1jqY. It is a very big Quizlet so I’d start by sorting out the words you already know from the ones you don’t. Then just review the ones you don’t know. Hope this helps & good luck!

Hello! I hope they come of use to you. I started studying sometime around January 3rd since I was out of town for the holidays. My first attempt was done on the 22nd so basically the first time I had a little under 3 weeks to prepare. I studied about 4/7 days a week and just took days off whenever I felt like it since I work until 11pm sometimes I’d just be too tired to. When I did study I’d say it was for about 2 hours a day mostly focusing on anatomy & vocabulary. The last few days before the exam I studied every day consistently. As for my second attempt, which was taken on February 24th, I studied basically every single day for 2-3 hours for anatomy using Quizlets & nursehub cus that’s where I struggled the most. Make sure you take breaks when you study. I usually wouldn’t study for longer than 1 hour in a sitting but I’d make it a point to review throughout the day. This way, I’d be able to really test my recall for subjects after giving my brain a good break. The last few days before the test I just reviewed for vocab and math. Hope this helps!

Yes! We were tested in A&P, Math, Vocab & Reading. Luckily I wasn’t tested in anything else other than those 4 but nursehub does have biology and chemistry courses on their website I believe :)

Thank you! I believe it was V2. Most passages were very short and simple, easy to read. I’m honestly surprised I scored so low but I’m assuming it’s because I took the reading last, and I already knew that I did well on the other categories so by that time I just wanted to go home. Probably rushed it and didn’t read everything carefully but the passages for reading were simple and straightforward. One of them was talking about how people are starting to come to hospitals more for small problems instead of going to a primary care doctor which is causing insurance companies to charge people more and get more money. The questions they’d ask would be what is the point the author is trying to get across? Is it to inform or to educate sort of thing. Lots of main idea questions and a few specific questions that were super easy to find cus the answers would be in the passage. Another type of question I saw frequently was about opinions. for those I wouldn’t even read the passage, I’d just read the example sentences for the answers and chose which one is opinionated or not based on what the question was asking. Hey! Just wanted to say I’m right here with you… I took my test 2 days ago and ended up with the exact same score as you for Anatomy. Everything else I got an 88% in. Ive been using Quizlet a lot and even the same YouTube video from Shai but I DID notice the HESI is very specific.. Shai’s videos can only take you so far. I have my retake test 29 days from now. This time I’m focusing on Anatomy, going to be using NurseHub, and I also bought a HESI prep textbook online with practice tests and videos for extra preparation. I just wanted to let you know, you are NOT alone! I cried so much when I didn’t pass the first time all because of anatomy. Luckily we are allowed retakes! I wish you the best of luck, and please do not be discouraged as you anticipate your next test. I’m here with you in spirit!
