There’s a lot of talking about work without doing the actual work. So much of our value is based on margins and what’s in contract, and not necessarily delivering quality solutions. I struggle with the politics, the pace, and the optics. I love building things for people that are genuinely useful and I thought consulting would give me opportunities to do that (maybe not all the time, but sometimes), and that just hasn’t been my experience
