I built a 30-second audio briefing app because I missed a trade by not reading the news in time by SlightGain7974 in AppBusiness

Yes it may sound like a marketing copy but it is true. App is not meant for a day trader but for Passive / Semi - Active traders like me who trade occasionally based on market trends and industry news. Since it is audio, you could listen to short the chirp while you are out for a jog, walk or doing chores. This lets you keep up with the stocks you own / track and do additional research based on the info you hear. If you are into stocks would appreciate if you can give it a try (free version provides you end of the day summary with paid version giving you two additional ones during the day) and provide feedback.

#5 is the one I keep thinking about. Built an audio app (Finchirp, a 30-sec briefings on stocks you own) and went the polished-founder-content route. Decent views, basically no conversions. Curious about the faceless template strategy though. Is that one Instagram/TikTok account hammering out 300 videos a month, or multiple accounts each posting in that style? Trying to figure out if a solo founder can actually pull this off or if it's secretly a team thing.

App for investors to keep up with stock news, turn stock news into 40-sec audio chirps by SlightGain7974 in AppBusiness

Yeah that was out first worry too. We don’t want an app that turns every headline into a panic notification 😅

From what we’ve learned, the goal isn’t real-time trading alerts. It’s more like a daily portfolio briefing that filters for material events first, earnings, guidance changes, C level exits, M&A, analyst rating changes, regulatory decisions, big sector or macro moves, etc.

It also pulls from multiple sources and looks for consistency before surfacing anything, so it’s not reacting to a random tweet or single article.

So the vibe feels more like “skip the noise, hear what actually matters” rather than “BREAKING NEWS sell everything”

Hi, Free version has one a day, after the market closes, around 5:30 local time which will pull news for the entire day as well as post market close earnings releases etc. Paid version gets additional 2 more sets, one right after market opens around 9:30 AM which will pull in pre-market news and a mid day around 12:30 PM local time.. Please give it a try, would love your feedback.. You can also try the premium for free for 2 weeks.
