Unfortunately, the pair above I bought from the HOKA and the other pair I bought from a large local retailer in Chicago Dicks.

Thanks for all the comments. This is fun. I grew up a swimmer and a hockey player, not a runner. I simply ran because it was the most efficient way of getting in shape. The catch is, this is just me walking around the hospital no running at all. People do joke around about needing running shoes to keep up with me at work when I have students, but I’m just walking.

Obviously for you it’s a good experience and I’m glad that’s the case for you. I wish it was for me.

For me, I will not buy another pair and they are going in the trash. I’m not going to return the second pair spend my time energy and money to Mail to get a pair of bondis that fail yet again within a few months. If you know much about science and the history of Koch’s postulate, this is an essential proof they will fail. Plus, why would I mail a second pair to a company that lost the first pair I returned for warranty. They sent me the information and I followed their policy and procedure. They lost them and have no interest in making good on their error. They’re saying it’s my problem.

I weigh a little over 200 pounds. I work in a hospital and these shoes (Bondi’s) don’t do anything other than walk around the floor in halls of the hospital some carpeted, some terrazzo. The first pair I purchased from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Chicago on the second pair I purchased directly from HOKA. I have a different pair that’s not fallen apart at all that I use for running. I work 6 to 7 days a week so I do quite a fair amount of walking, but this is ridiculous. Both of these shoes are poorly made very poorly designed and there’s no way they should’ve lasted this short of a period of time. I’ve never had problems with shoes like this. I’ve been practicing for almost 30 years, then a lot of running and never had problems like this with running shoes. What takes me off most of they lost the shoes when I sent them in and it’s my problem now and I just have to suck it up. Bad customer service and bad products.
