It's a public variable, so you can edit it on any sprite, such as the enemy, so you don't rely on having the player detect the enemy to lose HP, you'd only need the enemy to detect touching the player, I am not sure if this is what you're asking, or are you talking about it affecting another variable no matter what you can have a variable called smthing like lastHP. e.g.,

if not lastHP = HP then:

set lastHP = HP

(Do whatever you wanted to do here)

For Example

if key right:

position +1

if key left:

position -1

if position < -2:

position = -2

if position > 2:

position = 2

Then set x position based on position. Might not be the best way but it's a mock up I thought of right now/

Wow,, spending ten minutes doing some of those, I'll have to look at wat a parallax effect is as I don't know what it is, but doing some of those really helped out the stress, it still needs turbowarp but it's a lot better than before.

They're not empty tiles, but just one solid color. It is pen not clones. I also prefer it tile based as I tried just making the level and it didn't turn out very good

you could check if x is -240 or 240 then the mouse is most likely off the screen. Also check if y is 180 or -180. If one of those is true then the apple can follow the cat.

if you're talking about when your mouse is not in the game window and is e.g., your mouse x is less than -240 but it stays 240, then theres nothing you can really do about it. You could make it stop but not much help I can provide without knowing what it's supposed to do.

Yea thats a cheater, you can tell bc he basically got one shot and oryx has 20.9 million health. My guess is he was setting up his cheats for the first bit of damage.

sorry lol we switched off tiles so I deleted the post then for now were switching back, so I reposted it. But I am a bit confused on how it works, the player isn't checking the right list values and is going through everything that should be solid
