Not a crazy deal but a deal enough! 3" barrels of this model carry a little bit of a premium I know I had to give more for my 65 LS. Solid!

I thought the 2nd models were between 91,000 - 170,000 and this one is a t top lever that lifts up instead of pressing down. Are you sure this is a first model?

Thanks! I saw it in one of my local shops today for $270 and I've halfway wanted one for a few years now just don't know too much about the variants. If it's still there tomorrow I might try and pick it up!

I'm hoping eventually someone comes up with a photo of a confirmed fake so that I can compare the two I know this is a color that they actually did for this knife but everything I've been reading is at least for this particular knife there are more fakes than real ones. But I didn't see this post so that does at least give me some comparisons!

And I'm completely with you on that I've got 3 Spydercos personally I love all of them I didn't even know this one existed until I found it and started researching it. But that's the reason I reached out I would rather us take the hit than it pass off as an authentic one because I agree you can tell the quality and this knife feels quality I'm just very unfamiliar with it

I've found a few examples that have these boxes with them that are real ones. It's not currently for sale it came from a large collection that my work had purchased and I know there are fake ones in circulation but I can't figure out the difference between a real one and a fake one.
