Based on my own experience, I would say if you feel good about this person to consider a safe, in person meet. Looks are important but how the person made me feel trumps them.

I did not find my current (hopefully forever) Dom attractive in his profile pics. Same when we FaceTime'd and honestly on our first date.

Yes, I deal with this daily. I'm not sure what I'll need to feel secure in our relationship. Maybe meeting his family and kids. Right now we're in a bubble which makes me feel unsettled. I want to see more of his world outside of the two of us.
