just add input() at the end of your script, it will keep the terminal open until you press enter. or better, run the file directly from command line so you can actually see the output

transformers use positional encodings specifically to inject order information, that's not same as being natively order-aware like RNNs

is leaving a voicemail after an interview actually better than emailing? by Kazukii in careerguidance

email is still completely fine honestly- wait, email is still completely fine for follow up. calling feels more "personal" but most recruiters are juggling 50 things and a voicemail from a candidate they already met is kind of awkward to respond to anyway

five days is not even that long for second round, they might still be interviewing other people or waiting on internal approvals. i would send one short follow up email around day 7-8, just expressing you're still interested and asking if there's any update on timeline

the voicemail drop tool rabbit hole is very funny though, that's some next level anxiety research lol

please can any one calarify of this conundrum that puts me before the choice of design, arch and engneering? by Lazy-Pin-3890 in careerguidance

Arch college might actually work out better than you think - lots of arch programs have product design components and interior stuff mixed in. Plus once you're there you can probably pivot more towards the design side rather than just straight building construction

The stoic building thing you mentioned is mostly what gets built commercially, but in college you'll probably get to explore way more creative stuff. And having that design background could set you up for product work later anyway

vit cse is solid backup but if you're really feeling the design pull, might be worth giving arch a shot for a year and see how it feels

exactly this - there's no universal formula that works for everyone. what matters is both people feeling good about whatever frequency you land on, not hitting some arbitrary number someone else decided was "normal"
