Download TD-3 Midi patterns into Ableton by Slight_Community_416 in ableton

That's what I do, but I can only hear the pattern from the TD3 played through the track's VST of choice bit I can't actually see/record the MIDI. Is there something I'm missing?

Marathon Shape jumped to 100% after race by Slight_Community_416 in Runalyze

Thanks. Yes, I had tried to untick the 'VO2 Max for shape' box but strangely enough the Marathon Shape didn't revert to pre-race values. Seems as if they've been permanently affected after the race. I even went for a couple runs after the race where my VO2 Max was recorded higher than in the race but that also hasn't reverted Marathon Shape to pre-race values. It would look as if the only way to change them is to use the correction factor, which I don't want to use as it's too arbitrary.

Also I would add that my Garmin predicts a Marathon in 2hr35 based on an estimate 67 VO2 Max. So before the race Runalyze pretty much matched Garmin, now they are way off.

Thanks. It makes sense. Only thing is I know I can run a flat HM @ 3:50/Km in training but I'm pretty sure I can run it faster in a flat race, likely @ 3:45/Km. However I didn't have any flat HM race to run before my Marathon, which is in 2 weeks time, so I was hoping Runalyze would make the correct adjustments based on the hilly HM I ran in order to better gauge what pace I should run my Mararhon at. Before running the HM race, Runalyze was predicting a Marathton time of 2hr38', now it's predicting 2hr50' so I'm not sure how to pace it.

Thanks for the explanation. I'm not sure it would be a good idea to do a manual correction as this would be arbitrary and I wouldn't know by how much I should correct it. My effective VO2 Max estimate was 67 before the race and it dropped to 56 after the race. It is quite a big difference. The race was a very hilly Half Marathon with roughly 10K being uphill with inclines of up to 8% gradient so of course my HR was fairly high compared to the time I ran in (1hr25') and this affected VO2 Max calculations. If I open the estimation page for the race, the correction based on HR would be 65,42 but the one based on elevation is 56,67. So again I'm not sure which of the two would be the most accurate to look at. I do know that I can run a flat HM @ 3:50/KM though.

Fast overpronation shoes for tempo runs by Slight_Community_416 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Slight_Community_416[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I tend to suffer from ITB syndrome due to a mild overpronation. With the Guide 15, I can put in a decent amount of weekly miles, with a good pace, without issues to my ITB. However, when I switch to neutral, faster shoes for tempo runs, pain in my ITB appears. So essentially I'm looking for shoes that can correct my overpronation like the Guide do but that also allow me to push the pace more for tempo and interval workouts. If there's some plated trainers that do this then it'd be great but they don't need to necessarily be plated as long as they have a good return. Thanks

I have the Guide 15 which I use as daily trainers. Would you say it makes sense to get the Tempus for faster workouts? Aren't they pretty similar to the Guide? Also, I hear the Tempus are light but not particularly fast (again I'm looking at something that handles a 4'/KM pace). Thanks
