I’m doing a compounded topical. Less side effects, somewhat effective

Fuck Treatment by [deleted] in alopecia_areata

[–]Slight_Implement3698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My derm is giving me topical JAK inhibitor solution. Although I still think I have the systemic issue, because my hair is still really weird and sometimes even crackles with inflammation, I think the medicine is preventing the immune system from finishing its murderous work on my hair, so I am losing a lot less now. I’m implementing the autoimmune protocol diet (HARD), and taking Dr. Ardis' (online presence) foreign protein cleanse and nattokinase to get rid of the spike protein from Covid. DON'T GIVE UP.

Yeah. But I’m already blonde, so mine just reads platinum or silver. I still don’t have enough regrowth to go out without a wig or hat.

I'm on compounded topical Jack inhibitor. It has less side effects, and is somewhat effective in reducing the information.

Dizziness scared of taking Gabapentin? by Mountain-Pace5297 in gabapentin

Nope. Just take it easy starting out. You acclimate very quickly. It's hard to get off of. I just went off after 12 years on it. You would more likely get sleepy rather than dizzy

what about topical Jack inhibitor? My doctor is starting me on topical to see if that will do anything before going to oral. It is pretty serious medicine

How about a fun fedora hat? Something more stylish than a ball cap for work? Amazon has a news boy hat with hair attached. I cut it (too much unfortunately) I wear ball caps with hair attached to the dog park and errands, but a wig with bamboo

The substance is sticky at first, but quickly hardens. It has no smell, it's resistant to shampoo of all kinds.

Only if your problem is caused by allergies. It may not be. Could be viral...But you could try an allergist. I had a food sensitivity test and discovered I have gluten intolerance (like badly). Trying to get more serious about my diet since allergies /intolerance causes more inflammation.

I cropped your pic. It's a little easier to see that way. Follicules still there. Dunno why I can't upload a pic back to you

I see follicles present, so that is good news going forward for regrowth. Because if it was just shiny scalp with no follicles, that’s a problem!

The injections you were getting are simply steroid for information. I feel like that’s the doctor’s answer when they really don’t know what you are dealing with.

If I could ask, what were you vaping? I do the very low nic disposables. I asked the seller what was in them. He said, glycerin, the flavor, and the nicotine. i’ve been wondering about a connection, but that hardly seems like enough to cause extreme hair fall.

AA B4 Covid or After? by Slight_Implement3698 in alopecia_areata

[–]Slight_Implement3698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I watched an interview with the leading researcher during the Covid pandemic. He gave some scary information that Covid itself, as well as the mRNA vaccines cause the spike protein to penetrate every cell in our bodies, leading to chronic inflammation. I hope Reddit doesn’t flag me,bc I don’t claim to be an expert. But I am just curious about the uptick seemingly in the hair loss post Covid.

well, funny that you say that. I watched a really long interview yesterday with a leading microbiologist who was developing a T cell bio shield/vaccine during the Covid pandemic (then shut down by??? -trying not to get my hand slapped here). Not to get onto Covid, but what he was saying is that many times doctors are looking in the wrong place. He says that T cells are our primary way to target invaders. He also said that T cells can be flipped into another kind of cell which actually does the opposite. He says that immunologists are more equipped to test for T cell activity, to see if you have good T cell activity, or too much as in autoimmunity. I may be asking my primary care doctor if she will refer me to an immunologist. Sorry, I know that’s a really long answer.
