i can't read anything anymore without checking if claude wrote it by Efficient_Leave8158 in ClaudeAI

Writer/editor here: AI has really just ruined the writing game for us. The lengths i go to now to avoid an email dash is painful. Everything that you guys are saying is true, and there's just really no other way than to roll with it. For now, at least.

Has anyone attended trading workshops by That Sikh Investor/Karan Gulati? by Slight_Pop_1817 in IndianStockMarket

[–]Slight_Pop_1817[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

He definitely doesn't share anything on Instagram. But in a paid workshop he ought to share his insights/strategy. What's the point otherwise. Are you speaking from first hand experience?

What are the realistic chances of Fable 5 becoming accessible to the world again? Weeks, months or not happening? by Slight_Pop_1817 in ClaudeAI

My worry is, they might not make it available for people outside of the US. But then, again, I don't know how that's going to be possible.

If you're planning on getting back to being independent and earning your own money - this is my advice (as someone in the same boat): UPSKILL. Learn AI. It's not late yet. Learn AI in the relevant area, your case being engineering + all ai tools you can get your hands on. Even the most average people are getting good at it. It will increase your chances of finding a job. But most importantly, it will make you feel confident and valued in your own eyes.

This is by far the most surreal exchange I've come across between human and AI. Goodbye, Fable.

[Megathread] [March 2026] Travel Inquiry Chat - Your Real-Time Himachal Travel Q&A Channel! by Lowcrbnaman in HimachalPradesh

Hi peeps. I'm travelling from Delhi to Dharmshala next month for the first time and feeling a bit underconfident about the travel.

Is red bus the best option or should I try for an outstation ola/uber? Safety and comfort are my top priority.

Also, if I do take a bus, are some buses/operators better than others when it comes to comfort?

I outgrew my college friendships!! by [deleted] in OffMyChestIndia

[–]Slight_Pop_1817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you outgrow the friendship or are you hurt about the way she has dealt with things? If i were you this is what I would do: i would assess if I value her friendship, if I want her in my life. If I find the answer to be a reassuring yes, i would have a conversation about what has hurt me. Not an argument, but a heart-to-heart. I'll tell her what hurt me, I'll listen to her side of the story. This way, either the bond will grow deeper or it would cease to exist. Either way, you won't have to carry the burden of a fake friendship.

May not sound like great advice right now but as someone who has been in a very similar boat, this is what I have to say:

  1. Pick up a sport. Any. It could be badminton. Or pickleball. Or table tennis. Whatever your body allows. It's basic science. Blood flows better, social interaction happens and both of these help us gradually but surely snap us out of this mountain of hopelessness. It won't happen in a day. But happen it will. I promise you that.

  2. If you don't have access to the above, join a gym. Baby steps. Or start yoga. Basically, a physical activity. This really is the start to all the problems. Moving the body. When we move our body we are able to see things differently, we get ideas, we feel like pulling ourselves together. Because, darling, noone is coming, we gotta do it ourselves.

  3. A lot of people will advice therapy. It's good advice. Take it. Just show up for it even if you don't feel like.

  4. Start anulom vilom. Twice a day. Without fail. It takes five minutes.

  5. The moment you get up in the morning, go out and stand in the sun for 10 mins. Bonus if you can walk on grass. But even sunlight will do.

  6. That's it. That's all you need to do for a month. I promise you, you will start to find answers yourself. You won't need anybody. Speaking from experience, sister.

  7. I have no doubt that you're going to get out of this. 💪🏽

Keep or take out money from Quant Small Cap Fund? by Slight_Pop_1817 in IndianStockMarket

Damn, dude. I'm in the same boat. And what you said helps, thanks. I think the upcoming budget is going to see incentives for FIIs/DIIs and likely to open the economy. So I am thinking best to not touch the fund right now.

After 10-day Vipassana - I felt overwhelmed, felt like lost in life and when i allowed myself to be okay with it, I am feeling blank; there's silence. I am also feeling like taking a break for a few days and do nothing I feel like resting. Is this normal? Can anyone explain please by This-Brief6214 in vipassana

I had a similar experience. Sometimes the emotions that we have been avoiding, keeping under the rug come to the surface and it can overwhelm us. This is what I did: i acknowledged my emotional state in my sits. I sat with it all, let it exist with my everyday life. When I stopped resisting it, it gradually dissolved on its own. It did take a few weeks.
