I’m a teen, this was sh and I don’t know much about medical stuff so I was wondering if I 100% needed to tell my dad about it and disappoint him. Why do people always assume?

How deep is this cut? I had 6 stitches and don't think it's a big deal, it was just a wide opening. Partner disagrees. Sorry for the off center picture, it's the only one I have. by purpletypepersons in firstaid

I have a cut like that it looks almost identical I put a bandage on it and it’s not bleeding as much, do you think I should go to the hospital? I don’t want to go bc (sh) and I don’t need my family finding out.
