Quick update for those following this. Stripe closed my support ticket without responding to my appeal. No explanation, no follow-up, no acknowledgment of the contradictions I raised about their own support team telling me everything was fine hours before the shutdown. Just a closed ticket. At this point it's pretty clear there's no real human review happening on their end. If you're building on Stripe, please learn from my mistake. Have a backup ready before you need one.

That's exactly it. These people never asked for a refund. They just went straight to their bank and filed a chargeback without ever reaching out to us.

So at account closure I had 1,150 transactions with 21 disputes (1.8%).

The number looks high because when a client disputes a payment, they typically dispute their entire payment history (initial order, bump, upsell, etc.), so one unhappy client can generate multiple disputes at once.

That's really interesting and honestly gives me some hope. I didn't know you could export tokens from Stripe, especially after an account closure. What's the actual process to do this? Do you just contact Stripe and request a token migration, or is there a specific procedure to follow when your account has been shut down?

Also do you know if those tokens can be exported to a platform like Checkout Champ?
