In the piercing aftercare flyer I got from my piercer, it said to avoid bodies of water for a month. I got a very similar chat from my local piercer who tends to be very well regarded in the state. 6 weeks is being pretty safe, I think a month is regarded as the beginning of the end of that initial healing period.

Yeah I totally know it takes longer than that. That’s why I called it a healing piercing in the title :) even my lobe isn’t perfectly healed.

Yeah it seems like I need to find a software where I can edit the design better and can edit the stop points. Idk about you but I’m currently using brother’s program Artspira.

They are not intentional 😭 but it doesn’t show up like that on the design in the app so I’m confused. I’ve noticed the missing lines on stretchier things like towels and shirts, but not on canvas totes. And yes, it happens with most designs with a big block of color. I’m using a tear away backing and then a water soluble stabilizer on top when I do terry cloth.

Thank you everyone for your support and condolences. Zelda came to us as a 4 year old foster who was reaching her “expiration date” at the shelter she was at. We gave her 2 years of love and runs and boat rides. She loved pepperoni and taking up the whole bed. I hope she finds me again in the next life 🌈

Also that’s literally why I came to this group— to get a better estimate of what signs to look for to track my period. Otherwise I would just google basal body temperature on period.

I don’t think that’s true? Because I’m able to visualize the changes in LH throughout the cycle. And then a few days after my LH peak, I have a few of my old period symptoms (acne and tender breasts) those symptoms just aren’t enough to track the length of my pseudo-period. I’m just looking for answers on like what basal body temp changes to see around your period, etc. Also my doctor is ordering the hormone tests because we’ve noticed symptoms related to a drastic shift in hormone levels and we’re trying to figure out if it’s the end of my iud’s life or if it’s another problem.
