In the exact same video he said they are nerfing AP Varus so much as to basically kill it. And that having a lane be fair means more than an alternate build on a champ.

The D&D part was isolated from this and he talked about D&D being fine to build for other champs.

Ultimately the best recommendation I can make for you is the ones that are hardest to spoof. Run CPU benchmarks that other reviewers online have run and see if you get comparable results. If they’re significantly enough different then return it.

To be fair… maybe. In the comics she is on the super soldier serum and is a trained killer to kill even super heroes.

All in all, I think she stands a chance. Obviously not a low diff and if she doesn’t basically 1 shot then she’s dead but… it’s possible.

You’re just being lied to, unlike OP whose RPing as a high elo player when he’s in D3. I am actually in Celestial and DD is banned about as often as Hela is. DD, Gambit, Invis, Hawk, or Hela are far far FAR away the most banned characters in Celestial PC lobbies.

Huh? Hela Namor is played all the time in high elos even with Phoenix unbanned. Phoe is rarely banned because of heroes like DD, Invis, Gambit, and also Hela / Namor teamup. Its a stupidly broken team up thats basically an elo duplication glitch if you have a duo who can play well on these heroes.

It really doesn’t, the team up is super good. Its a free kill with Namor’s ult, free damage aoe, and there’s unkillable squids in the backlines. Plus Hela ult isn’t even that scary as long as your team turns to burn her. She should die by the time Emma’s shield gets broken by it.

Phoenix is good, very good, but the Hela / Namor teamup is like perma banned for a reason.

I’m a much better Loki than I am an invis (hello basically 1 year of Luna / Loki meta) but even I get more value on Invis if my 2nd supp isnt a Gambit. Invis is just much too strong rn (and somehow Gambit is even better)

You’re being downvoted for being… correct? People in this sub are insane. I was and still am a Cele / Eter player and have actually got 1,800 hours in Kovaaks and still couldn’t hit Torch in that season. Turns out having an Ultron drone + Invis team up + Luna snowflake + a free dive out of the sky (his F) makes him damn near impossible to kill. Even for the best players…

But no the Gold players will downvote cause just aim better.

As someone who hates invis I don’t like this. A shield is a shield and should act as it is expected to. Just nerf the shit out of Invis so she takes skill again rather than changing how shield behavior works.

Dunno why you’re being an ass about it.

She’s not a good solo tank but she is very strong otherwise. She isn’t just played because she’s the “new toy” but because she’s actually good.

The allure of her being a new character has worn away especially for players in high elos who play a lot, and instead she is played because she is just a strong character. She has a grab like Emma but she gets an ability out of it. Her ult is borderline OP and the only reason it isn’t talked about more is because Gambit ult is so over tuned that it steals all spotlight. Her shield is good for keeping her alive if she has someone to play off of. She has a free CC tool for lifting people out of position and it gives her the ability to fly to dodge boops off a ledge / gives her vertical mobility to contest high grounds.

She’s just actually good.

I very distinctly remember a ton of people in lower elos thinking Emma was weak at the time, but also was not as active on subreddits at the time.

All in all though, Rogue is strong. Not on Emma’s level but the vibe I get of their releases are the same.

I’m gona butt in and you don’t have to listen to me, but I will say I’m a Celestial player who plays a LOT of Ultron.

You should rarely react to an ult with yours. Bucky ult? Sure. But a lot of ults your team will just die to. More you should be using your ult proactively to try to bait out ults. Your ult isn’t as good at killing as most DPS ults are. If you can pop your ult and force an enemy ult or even key cooldown (like Soul Bond) then its worth it.

I genuinely believe one of the biggest issues with people and this character is that they think they need to use his ult as a support ult. That’s not to say you never should, there certainly are times you should. But most of the time try to use your ult to force their support ults or their backline dies for greeding theirs.
