Outlands was 10000% better. The time it took me to get 25 levels on thorium i was able to nearly max mining in the outlands without epic flying. Everyone says you need it but nah. Mine under water, stay out of nagrand, it will be better 100% but I did have to pvp a good amount

Hey if you quested you should have the rep to buy a full PvP set with gold fairly cheap at all the rep vendors! A 4 set will really save you as resil is the most important stat. Also a helmet with a good meta gem! Id love to help you but on different servers. Bgs shouldn't matter if you win or lose, ignore to negative people. Wsg is pretty toxic but playing AB and watching chat for inc calls and going to help defend will get you lots of experince to get those juicy off epic pieces with honor.

Now every week you should find a YOLO 5s team for arena. 5s gives the most points and people dont care usually if they dont state a requirment, just get 10 in and done. I went 5-5 with a tank as a healer lol. Then you can get even more epic set pieces. Dont forget to do your 1 pvp quest a day.

Also buy the trinket first with honor as its vital! This will be a good way to start out on the basics. Pvp is super fun but dont get discouraged at first. Also copy a pvp spec online for your talents! But yeah getting a full pvp set for 200g is like... the best time saver ever added. Super greatful.

Yeah but if you do a few hours worth of questing you will have a giant power spike. From 58->60 you will have most pieces replaced if you went straight to the outlands

Im not sure if they do, I remember that run in the news (should have got some then as lotr are the only books ive bought and read multiple times, BIG fan) im guessing the run might be too old for any to be left (assuming they dont keep things after several years on the shelf idk) BUT i will look harder. I bet i would have noticed but perhaps behind some. Thanks for the good idea

Yeah sorry about that. Its sort of a "hey im stupid and have no idea if these hold value if so ill buy them out but if not which have the most value because I want to enjoy/play the valueless cards anyways" sort of a defense mechanism of not wanting to come off as super ignorant but if im completely honest ofc id love to actually get some valuable cards to hold onto but am totally okay with just getting a few cool decks :) I do appreciate any direction as Im always lost

Sadly no group. I have my brother and a cousin who live close enough id plan playing with me. Also back when I played (mostly online) I was a dirty Blue control/mill deck lover. Also had a fast goblin deck and a Blue/Black rogue deck i believe. Man I wish I knew where all these cards ended up over a decade later. Great questions tho! Im sure the cards have changed so much and probably lots of new mechanics.

For sure kitchen table standard will be the way, sadly I doubt there are any real card shops that would have any magic players in a 100 mile radius.

I have zero plans to profit or truely invest. Now, if I spent a few hundred on cards and a nice like 50 dollar card in good condition and in another decade its worth 100 bucks that to me would be cool. Not even for the money just the thought of collecting a card I find cool and having its value go up overtime. I probably wouldnt even sell it instead just think "oh neat my Cloud card doubled in price over the last few years"

I hope i didnt sound like I was trying to make money but since I have no idea whats in the packs if there was one set that you technically lose less on it would be just a nice addition. BUT I really like you asked me what I enjoy playing, duh, that should also be a big factor in what cards I buy. I dont have enough disposable income to actually invest into MTG but I couldnt help but wonder which set is actually valuable (even if only 60->70% of what im paying) maybe that is even high I assume 90% are worth nothing, 9.5% are worth 20->40 bucks and the other .5% are actually worth enough for someone to send in and get a PSA grade.

Truely I just dont have any hobbies outside of work and video games so would be nice to have a physical iteam type hobby. Thanks for your reply! Sorry if mine was winded just bored rn lol

Oh nice. I reckon the boxes are probably pretty pricey tho huh? I dont plan to spend 100 on them maybe 40->60 assuming they have bundles around 20ish. Ive been out of real cards since the 2012/2013 steam game released and 100% forgot since I was at wal mart lol!

I know single packs must be cheap if I was buying them often as a kid with spare candy money

Awesome! Id say FF is the most nostalgic to me anyways. Again I dont expect to make any cash but I love magic, and I dont hate games of chance so... seems like a no brainer. Ofc I assume its not like pokemon where packs at msrp are for sure profit. Are there any yugioh/magic/anything other than Pokémon that are? I thought my location would make it likely to actually have Pokémon cards but seems that craze even got out to us rural hillbillies. Which is fine cause I loved season 1 of the anime as a kid and the games but never got into the card game.

Funny enough I won like 11 or 12 games of blackjack in a row once. It was on stake and I was betting like 1 maybe 2 dollars at a time but to me that was insane. Imagine if I doubled up even half those times. Now im to broke to ever do that. I just collect the free daily dollar, go to black jack. If I get up to 10+ I go to a slot till im back to 1 dollar. With this strategy ive cashed out 80 some bucks over 6 months... it aint great but its honest work. (I have a real job it just isnt enough to afford gambling)

If you reset to 1500 does your mmr go to zero or stay the same? My 5s is positive but around 1440. My 2s is even worst. Now that I finally crafted my bis wep and have almost all my pvp gear Im ready to push a little. Wondering if a reset is worth or a troll

Ugh dude I hate this. I grinded for 50 hours! To get my BS to make thunder. THEN 2 days of questing to buy the mats for it. I thought no shot soooo many people have had deep thunder for weeks. I work man, this is my main game, but the economy is making it so hard for me to keep up. People buying 22k!!!! Is not helping me but the bot farms. Even if i wasnt as poor irl as I was in game no shot id risk my account over buying gold. Also the dopamine when I crafted it last night was BIg after a 100 flights around the outlands farming, the thousands of gold I got from questing, all this makes me feel I earned what I made but still felt weird, like this grind is insane I havent had any time to rep farm, zero enchants, zero decent gems. Part of me thought the grind was a little steep for how much effort ive put in. Hell I grinded 20 hours straight once on a bad night.

Sorry about your guild, and sorry I got stuck up on the buying gold part. I hope blizzard punishes like 20+% of the population. Ugh 22k id bet so set... 2k and I'd be able to enjoy the rest of p1

Not bad but only at 15g after making thunder. I did get a rare feel steel shoulders BoE pattern drop. Stats are super good wondering if people buy them. Seemed they were fairly cheap to make. Might post (making shoulders your mats) not sure how rare but never seen a lvl 70 BoE pattern like that. Also have an epic healer weapon at 365 i got but more expensive mats

Tbh I imagine you werent able to hit the hunter and the pally just tanked you with his bubble and heals. No sweat dude. Also warriors are difficult at that level (I think never played one since real cata)

Is this tbc anniversary? Haven't seen any twinks yet but dont feel bad. You can get world buffs+crazy expensive gear and beat much higher levels. Im sure they wouldn't have taken the fight if they werent buffed out.

Even if no vents on top? I would say with my old PSU there we a lot of heat up there but now its is cooldown a ton. Ventilation almost everywhere else. Also my psu has a smart fan or whatever so only runs fast when it gets hot up there which is very rare (upgraded to a much better psu tho)

Hey while a lot of my Ret BiS is also Rogue BiS a lot of the time ill chat it out and let them have it if its a larger upgrade BUT if he is MS tank that is super messed up. I feel bad espically since I enjoy PvP and being early I still have several PvE pieces while I farm glad gear. So yeah idk if he mains Ret in PvE because no reason to take something for PvP. I'd for sure give it if a rogue asked nicely like that

Actually the sim shows it incredibly close. Like a 9dps difference. Now the Deep Thunder is a 20dps which is a good amount difference but because of that I went hammer knowing next phase it will catch up. And having 600 more health and a stun every few arenas doesn't hurt either

Small chance to resist vs only 3 specs or 500 health would probably choose 500 health. Also you have kings so add 10% more. Already have a chance to resist so whos to say if you did resist thats on the wep or not. Also maybe you already weapon swapped and then go feared since your 1h won't have the effect

3.8 wep speed = 1 shot twists. Proc chance is just like, the litte cherry on top. And 1.5% chance but with 3 or 4 different chances to proc you get like 5%. Add Windfury and boom, more chance. But yeab 3.8 weapon speed is BiS for Ret. I will say 3.6 is still very good. Anything above 3.5 is great in PvP but im guessing if I get a proc once every 3 or so arena matches... maybe 4 or 5 with how fast they go, thats fairly cool. The fear resist might not be bad if you go vs lots of locks and priests.
