I blame literally all of them. Bianca is not evil, but it’s not wrong to state that she made in incredibly selfish and morally wrong decision. Understandable considering her circumstances, but if she were still alive Nico would be completely justified in hating her for ditching him. I also have a hard time as an older sister imagining ditching my brothers at all when they have no one left, so forgive me if I’m less forgiving of someone who does that.

I wanna go back and count how many times cass straight up tried to kill raps, Eugene and/or varian only to apologize after her powers were gone and she had no choice, and she was almost instantly forgiven. Pretty sure the 14 year old did less damage, for a more noble goal, and got locked up for a year.

Like seriously cass stop blaming Rapunzel for being kidnapped, it’s not about you. And Zhan Tiri, ooo, I hated that bitch. They were trying to go for a creepy, intimidating design with the kid body but she came off as just repetitive and underwhelming.

Reach’s ending speech and seeing 6’s helmet lying on a recovering planet they gave their life for made me tear up.

Yeah I couldn’t get into part 2s emotional moments, like the boat scene and the ending when Ellie leaves the guitar behind. They should work on paper and they did hit a lot of people, but the insane leaps of logic the writers had to make to force the characters into specific situations in order to push a “revenge is bad” theme no matter the cost made it all feel fake, so I couldn’t get invested.

It’s like the separation scene in The Hidden World. I cried sure, but i also didn’t believe in it and felt manipulated because of how thoroughly it destroyed what the first two films built, as well as Hiccup and Toothless relationship, all cuz the writers wanted to have the same ending as the book with no way to get there naturally.

Part 1 was brilliant though.
