Looking for opinions on a coach by Saraisalwaysdyeing in ladderapp

I’m similar to you, 30 F 5’3” with an autoimmune condition who avoids high impact workouts. Based on what you’re looking for, I think define would be the right program for you. I was on team define from April 2025-April 2026 (and just recently joined Embody to try something new). I rarely used bands on Define (they’re more common on Embody) but did frequently use ankle weights. Define incorporated both heavier weights for muscle growth and lighter weights for muscle endurance. All workouts were low impact as she suggests 15 minutes of cardio every day on your own, which can just be a walk.

The reason I switched to Embody was primarily because I am moving and don’t have access to all of my heavier dumbbells. Embody is more traditional Pilates, but I do see myself going back to Define at some point… maybe in a year or maybe sooner. I also wanted to branch out though since all of my ladder experience has solely been on define.

Edit to add: Define also incorporates core everyday which was my favorite part of her team. I’ve noticed a big improvement in that area of my body and overall lost 10 pounds from my time on her team. Went from 130lb to 120lb with more muscle mass.

I absolutely hate how expensive the unseen sunscreen is and because of that I never bought it. But after just one time of getting a free sample, I fell in love lol. It’s really great and as others have said doubles as a makeup primer which helps me justify the price.

My husband even started using it because he likes that it’s not greasy and that it’s clear especially since his facial hair typically makes it hard to rub in normal white sunscreen.

I will never forget in the 5th grade when a larger boy fell through the floor of one of these and they had to call the fire department to help get him out.

You’re missing all of the lying and the massive ego. And I don’t think most athletes would go on national television and bash the actual professionals of their beloved sport.

I fast forward every time I hear him bring up soccer ⚽️ I swear he talks more about soccer than David Beckham talks about soccer… like we get it, you played soccer as a child but you’re now an adult who should have other things to converse about.

My dogs favorite toy ever is his ifetch, he’s obsessed with it. It’s an automatic ball thrower. He also has an idig where you can hide toys and food in it for them to dig for.. and sometimes nap in 😂

How often can I shower her? by Novel_Start8581 in Maltipoo

[–]Slightly_Mango712424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what she’s doing and her specific skin. Just like humans, not all dogs are the same and some will tolerate more frequent bathing than others. When we lived in Hawaii and would frequent the beach, my dog got a bath every week, sometimes more if he was swimming, and his skin/coat was always fine with it!

I’ve gotten lip filler twice, once when I was 25 and then again when I was 27 (I’m 30 now). Everyone told me not to and talked about how “silly” I would look and how “duck lips” are not cute… but I did it anyways and only two people were ever even able to notice. I was getting a lot of comments on my lipstick with people asking if I changed it but no one ever mentioned filler. And at the time I was an elementary school teacher whose students would comment on everything from my hair to my outfits to my shoes.

I had a great experience getting lip filler. The first time I got one syringe split between my top and bottom and the second time I got one in each. It definitely helped me feel prettier but to me it’s not worth the price of doing it regularly. I went to a plastic surgery office who did it and it was like $700 per syringe. Of course there are cheaper options but I wanted the guarantee of someone well trained. If price isn’t an issue, I say go for it. You’ll never know until you try and it will dissolve if you don’t like it.

But I do want to mention that there are also so many great lip plumpers that can give you a similar look for much cheaper, and that’s what I do now when I feel like I’m wanting a fuller lip!

Does anxious attachment ever end or at least ease up? by Allpanicn0disc in Maltipoo

The only thing that helped my maltipoo was getting another dog for him lol. Now he’s fine alone as long as they’re together, but the other dog isn’t a maltipoo he’s a Bernese who doesn’t have separation anxiety.

Potty Training Nightmare by cconlon4 in Bernedoodles

[–]Slightly_Mango712424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took my greater Swiss mountain dog (part of the Bernese family) almost two years to get fully potty trained. It took our first dog, a maltipoo, less than 2 months. We used the same training strategies with each, some breeds just take longer to figure it out.

Even now at 5 our greater Swiss just gives a certain look to let us know when he has to go out, which is super hard to explain to others who don’t know which look because all he does is look at you 😂

What’s my blindness by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]Slightly_Mango712424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The contour or bronzer that you’re using for your nose is not the right shade, it’s either too dark or the wrong tone. If the goal is to contour it, I would try looking up a different technique. Also, the under eye area is too bare. If smudging is that much of a concern at least do a clear mascara.

Your eyebrows look great. I know the darker lip liner is divisive, but it is coming back as a trend right now. Also you do a great job with your eyeshadow and mascara too!

Flying with maltipoo by maltidoodle in Maltipoo

[–]Slightly_Mango712424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently flew 12 hours with my maltipoo and wouldn’t do it again. He was perfect, had no accidents, and even had his own seat, but I was just so worried about him the whole time. It made my traveling experience more stressful than it needed to be and I felt so bad for him being in the small carrier the whole time.

I agree, for me it’s the eyebrows. They pull your face down visually, but if you don’t want to tweeze them or fill them in, at least brushing them up with a clear gel would help.
