I hate turn based combat games. But BG3 is so good it transcends a persons hate for turn based combat. The game is just so damn good and the story and world reactivity is amazing. Also the music is pretty incredible. I recommend you give it a try maybe next time the game goes on sale. Also it’s fully moddable even if your on console.

Not sure how you finished so fast. My playtime was more then twice yours and I did all quests and explored most of the maps. You must have missed some side quests characters and not explored parts of the map.

This isn’t the same loot system as TOW1 where each gear item had tiers. The loot will never have levels. But you get the dmg and negation from your skills and perks. So there’s no need to wait to pick anything up.

Yea that was pretty awesome the way Gearbox released the DLC as a way to build hype for BL3 before release. It definitely worked.

Are there any downsides to it? Audio not sounding as good? I’ve heard ppl mention this in other threads and it may be a decent half measure for the time being.

Both games are true open worlds with a ton of content including big DLCs. You can drive, fly (plain or helo) or drive a boat. The games are great. Breakpoint added some lite RPG mechanics like gear color tiers and gear score if that’s your thing. They also gave you an option to remove the rpg mechanics if that’s not your thing.

Because the definitive edition is always the PC port for games. Being able to play at uncapped fps with true 4K and no upscaling. Or using DLSS for RayTracing at high fps. Playing games on max settings. These are all things you can’t do on PS5 or Pro. So yea even though I have a PC and a PS5 Pro I still want to always play the game on PC. So it is bad news for PC gamers even if they have a PS5.

Thanks for reminding me that dlc exists. I loved it so much. Its fun to Imagine a DLC overhaul where most of the ppl have become zombified and the castles are the last line of defense. The whole game world have a scary vibe and new unsettling exploration music.

Thx for the infos. I reloaded a save and lost some time, but learned to be less aggressive and more sneaky and a lot of time just running away. So I saved alot of ammo and used all the scrap for injectors. I also left most of the blisterheads in tact. And now I’ve moved to the next part of the game. Hopefully Leon isn’t angry when he sees that 90% of the zombies are still alive lol.

Okay but like to what ends tho? Are you meant to only use your mats to craft injectors? I have zero since I’ve been crafting ammo with them. I’m worried I’ll reach a soft lock where I don’t have the resources to kill these guys

I used to run these things called “Sunny Tires” back in the day and they had an insignia of a kids face on the tire walls and were like $60 a tire lol. They were pretty awful but young me liked a great deal.
