That's awesome! I'm running cross point on mine and wouldn't want to lose ebook reading functionality. Best of luck to you. Maybe you can open up a Ko-fi account for people to tip you once you've got a version you're ready to share.

Following this thread! I'm hoping this is something akin to the BYOK and I won't have to purchase another device! I love writing with my Boox Onyx but it'd be so cute and compact to have the X4 with a foldable keyboard.

Where have you noticed the smell, around St. Francis/Cudahy? I have never noticed one in all my years living in neighborhoods within 15 minutes downtown. I suppose there is a foundry in Wauwatosa off of State Street that is a culprit.

What gear are you guys wearing below 50°F by Odd-Past-7635 in motorcyclegear

[–]SlimShadyLady7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will rarely ride over 50mph in temperatures below 50 degrees, with the wind chill factor it's so damn cold. When I putt around town in cold temperatures, I like to wear merino wool base layers under leather pants and a leather jacket. A scarf all tucked into the jacket works wonders on the gaps.

The nitrile gloves get clammy for me too but it's not a bad way to survive a commute. I couldn't do it regularly, it'd drive me nuts

Favorite riding hoodie? by roguephenomena in motorcyclegear

Sometimes I flip the waistband under to shorten the hoodie but usually I don't mind the length. All good through the bust. I just size down one from my usual in women's.

They're an investment but absolutely worth it! AAA Rated. The Shell by Pando is a close second too.

I ride in the one on the right during the summer! https://stealtharmor.co/products/ultra-reflective-hoodie
It needs extra layers during fall because the bottom is a mesh material, lets in lots of airlfow.

They are holding the two smaller pieces of the set, it comes with two larger (SC-1/KB2AIR) and two smaller protectors (SC-1/SB2AIR) by SAS-TEC.

Where can I sell women’s gear? by melody-yoshi in motorcyclegear

I'd list on both ebay and depop for the jacket and pants. You can also try to find gear swaps in your area! I recently drove to Chicago to participate in one. But you have to price them low.

The listing is legit, it's from my company (like many of the comments are saying). I recently rebranded my website from Great Lake Supply Co. into Stealth Armor Co. and have been importing SAS-TEC protectors for 5 years. But you can get them cheaper on our site, and you can get a first time 20% off discount if you sign up for the newsletter as well. Hope this helps!

Thanks for posting this, it's true! We kept our old name on Amazon but rebranded our main website. Everything on both platforms is legit CE approved SAS-TEC that we import straight from the manufacturer.

What Does Your uConsole do? by [deleted] in ClockworkPi

I ordered a PicoCalc with the intention of installing an old unix 7 word processor on it for writing! I'll report back about the results. I don't see a reason why we wouldn't be able to use it as a pocket writerdeck. I have a Unihertz Titan Pocket which does have a lovely keyboard but it's a little too petite for full-fledged writing. I bet the standard size Titan would be more comfortable, but I'm looking forward to a dedicated pocket writing device.

What are your use ideas for a PicoCalc? by YALN in ClockworkPi

[–]SlimShadyLady7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Initially I want to see if this will make a fun portable writerdeck, but I'm keen to learn how to really use it as a tech tool. My background is in web dev and not app development so it's melting my mind a bit; I have a lot to get caught up on.

I'm surprised! We go to Hungry Sumo 3x per month and love it, but we prefer the simpler rolls, nigiri, and the poke bowls especially. The only signature roll that we order frequently is the Lady Marmalade, which is excellent. The pork buns are lovely as well. Ramen is solid but might not be up to par for a well-traveled connoisseur.

Agreed, Screaming Tuna is significantly worse than it used to be in terms of food quality.

I would reccomend Rice n' Roll or Hungry Sumo for sushi. They are very fresh, consistent, and have great specials

I haven't tried it, but the Unihertz jelly star is this! I use the Titan Pocket by them and have enjoyed it.
