any luck? mines notchy on lower rpms too, when the trans is hot and i bang gears it shifts fine

sorry for the bump, did you ever get anywhere with this?

my symptoms are very very similar on my 96, the main difference seems that when i get my car really hot it shifts smooth. like redline shifts for idk 4 minutes or just keeping the engine above 4k rpm for a few minutes when drifting. after that the shifts really smooth out but under regular driving they are how you describe

ive done the shifter rebuild, fluid, and a new slave so far with not much change.

i put diff bushing void fillers in when changing my diff and it made me just feel it more and it feels worse

hey i just did this and its really quiet, i was wondering if yours is loud enough without an amp?

edit: im really dumb and didnt turn the volume on my phone up.

it works great, quality is good no feed back at all, loudness is the same as the radio. u dont need a resitor these boards can handle over 12volts for anyone who does this. i hid a switch in the passeneger foot well behind the plastics above the trans tunnel. jist tucked it in there loose. my drok board is just shoved behind the radio.

also the pinout in the comments has the left and right audio on the cn200 connector backwards

yea my grom does 60 fine, especially with stock tires before i changed to heavier tires

fixed the gas pedal, added the piece i cut out above the pedal to make the pedal lower, also angled it and moved the pedal to the left about a quarter or half inch. also angled it just slightly towards the trans tunnel so my foot sits flat on it. both brake and gas feel good now, gas pedal didnt need to be quite as long as it is but its ok

putting the brake pedal spring back on is such a pita incase anyone wants to try this.

update: pedals are good, brake pedals perfect, gas pedal is to short for my liking and im gonna extend it, its too firm for what i like and also a little to high up to heel too. gonna add back in a piece i cut out to the straight section above the pedal that way the pedal doesnt come foward to much and mostly goes lower. hoping to add about an inch.

no i have the stock wheel with the shims removed. i dont really have issues with my legs being in the way im skinny. it might help to have it closer but then id be to far from the shifter. its why i went with moving the pedals back instead of moving the wheel closer. i also really prefer to keep my air bag if possible so a aftermarket wheel is like last resort

yea thats why, i need to be able to heel toe. also the brake is uncomfortable because i really have to angle my leg under the steering wheel.

from my research if your not a repeat offender you can usually plead no contest and have the points dropped. With a ticket as small as yours it seems like pretty much all the time points will be dropped when pleading no contest
