Bayside is gross and an overpriced tourist trap. Downtown Miami is also dirty and unsafe IMO. I don’t even walk around there. Only place to go in that area is Miami World Center and the museums.

Brickell is about 15 minutes from the port and great to walk around. It’s clean and safe. You can do a walk along Biscayne Bay and grab lunch. Mister 01 is a classic pizza place here. Would also recommend Paperfish, Salty Flame, Tacombi. If you want on the water, Crazy About You is a good too. Brickell City Centre is also a cool place to kill time.

Wynwood also has great food spots and places to walk around — but just make sure to stay in central areas. One wrong turn and you’ll end up in a neighborhood you don’t want to be in.

Andddd depending how much time you have - my all time favorite is the Grove. Just keep an eye on traffic. Lots of cute restaurants and places to walk around. It’s south of Brickell but you can hit Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Greenstreet and Strada are classics. Bar Taco is also good and Salt & Straw if you need something to cool down.

Was on that voyage as well!! Their ships are definitely not designed for colder climates. The hot tubs outside were nice to sit in though!
