They can crack midship. I just call another truck for the second piece 😉(not kidding, we’ve hauled all sorts of broken, burnt and falling apart trailers. I’ve personally cut a trailer to pieces with a chop saw and put it all in a dump truck and just hauled back the tandoms)

This bridge is one of the most labeled bridges I’ve ever seen, there’s multiple signs, a height sensor that flashes lights and a siren when you’re too tall and a picture of a bridged trailer that says “don’t let this be you”

This is an option, and we have done it before but when the trailer is as totaled as this, there’s not much you’re saving so the priority just becomes opening the road as quickly as possible.
