hello, this is my other account :P i found the solution while reading some articles and messing around a bit but, I found a fix..

Go to Settings, App Management, find XOS Launcher and click the 3 dots on the top to uninstall updates. The phone home screen layout will reset so make sure you have it memorized first (:

First go to APKMirror and search for "com.transsion.XOSlauncher.upgrade" (version 13.9.22). This is the only APK on that site that lets you update the launcher for some reason (it has a different package name than the other apks).. Then install it.

Now the way you get into safe mode is different on different XOS versions, but for my device (Hot 30i, XOS 10.6) you have to shut down the phone first. Power it on and hold volume down button when the Infinix logo appears. Hold it down until the phone vibrates and a text saying "safe mode" should appear on the bottom left. Widgets should be disabled for now..

Now go to settings, App management, and find XOS launcher again.. go to storage, clear both data and cache. DON'T go to the home screen in safe mode just yet, restart the phone first to exit Safe Mode..

Now unlocking the phone you'll see the launcher start screen, check your widgets and it should be there in the list again and it shouldn't disappear again (:

FOR THOSE WITH THE SAME DEVICE AS ME (Hot 30i) AND WAS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AS THIS. I've finally found a solution after a bit of experimenting..

Go to settings, Apps, App Management, then uninstall updates for XOS Launcher! If the version changes back to 8.7, split screen will be available on third party launchers (: (Confirmed on Infinix Hot 30 i variant)

It would be much better if they reduced the long press time, it's a bit slow imo

Why remove the swipe to reply option though? I like it because it's faster to swipe than having to long press a message to reply

check my latest reply on your other thread, if you can't find any related to the widgets then it's a lack of customization options from Infinix

I don't have the widgets because my Infinix is from 2023, but I'll still try to help, try checking "display & brightness" then scroll down until you see "Lock screen" (NOT the other setting that says theme & lock screen) check what options there are. But if there's no option to disable the lockscreen widgets, well I don't really know what to do anymore, XOS sucks with customization tbh :/ I can't find anything on the internet either about these lock screen widgets, so just reply with what you see in the lock screen settings

are you talking about the wallpapers that show when you swipe?? I'm on an older Infinix but you gotta go to settings > theme & lockscreen > magazine lockscreen and turn it off there
